Sun shines up in trip

Sunrush galloped on strongly in the closing stages to run out a convincing winner of the Gain The Advantage Series Handicap for Andy Slattery. Sam Coen produced the 8/1 shot to lead a furlong-and-a-half down in the mile-six contest and he soon asserted. The Teofilo gelding kept on well inside the final furlong to post a two length success over 3/1 favourite Millhone. The winner was stepping up in trip having finished third over a mile-and-a-half at Tramore last time. Slattery said: "We were a bit worried about that (trip); we didn't know what to expect.
