Call My Name wins bumper at Kilbeggan

Call My Name gave us another winner when stretching clear late on to land the concluding bumper at Kilbeggan. Adam Ryan was soon in front on our Affinisea gelding, who was joined half-a-mile from home by early leader Myluckymaker and Walkwithmyfriend. The winner had been a touch unlucky when third on his debut at Tramore last month, getting hampered three furlongs from home. Willie Slattery said afterwards: "He clipped heels in the dip in Tramore. Other than that, he'd have been a close second. "I'd say Mick (Walsh) backed him all the way up. I'd say he had a nice few quid on him.
